In this class, we learnt more about Prototyping. I am very confident in my prototype designs and how to go about making it exceptional for users as prototyping is a strong point in my ability. In this class, learning about better and more efficient ways to prototype will be beneficial to my 2 projects for the year.
User Flows are a visual representation, where we use sticky notes, that maps out the path a user takes to complete a specific task or achieve a goal within a website or application, including all their actions and decisions along the way. This is before any wire frames and it allows me to understand where the buttons are, where they lead to and how they act.
For me using sticky notes in Figma for prototyping, it helps streamline the ideation phase, allowing teams to focus on the user experience and flow without getting overwhelmed by design details too early. It's a quick, flexible, and collaborative approach that sets the foundation for a successful design process.

A sitemap is a hierarchical representation of a website's structure, showing the organisation and relationships between different pages or sections. In the context of web design and UX, creating a sitemap is often one of the first steps in the planning process, helping to establish the information before moving on to more detailed design stages. It serves as a blueprint for the website's architecture and navigation. Sitemaps are essential tools in web design and development for several reasons,
Overall, I have used User Flows and Sitemaps consistently throughout my 2nd Year doing this course, in my projects, to help with prototyping. I am confident that these 2 aspects will work for understanding where to get to the next stage of the users needs and goals.
